Marking the 70th anniversary of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki – Jackie Cabasso is an internationally recognized leader in the global nuclear disarmament movement. She reports on the recent Non-Proliferation Treaty Review Conference at the United Nations, which she attended. She discusses the state of the nuclear disarmament movement, including the impact of the recent Iran deal, and the Adminsitration’s nuclear force “modernization” program, which is expected to cost $1 trillion over the coming decades.
